Overview This lot contains (1) 2007 29 Foot Barrier Boat built by Chucks Boat and Drive Co. The vessel is classified in usable condition. The boat was reported to be in operational condition when removed from the water in November 2025, however it requires grooming throughout and shows extensive rust, dents, scratches and peeling paint throughout. Walk-around deck with forward and aft tow posts. Four quarter mooring posts and push knees. 6-inch rubber fendering around sheer and on push knees. Raymarine navigation package with radar, GPS, and depth sounder. VHF radio and deck lights included. Condition & Markings This lot is in usable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. The vessel needs grooming throughout. Extensive rust is present throughout the boat. Dents, scratches and peeling paint are visible throughout. Hull, mechanical and electrical systems should be tested and repaired prior to vessel operation. Electrical systems were not energized and mechanical systems were not rotated during inspection. Navy Hull Registry Number: 29BB0606. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Boat can only be removed by water. The Navy will provide crane service to place the boat in the water to be towed away, or removed under its own power if possible. Inspection time Monday through Thursday from 0900-1400. The successful bidder is responsible for the proper disposal of oily water that may have accumulated in the boat. No work other than the disposal of oily water may be accomplished prior to removal without the express written consent of the contracting officer of record. Lifting slings, rigging gear and shackles, if provided, may not be certified or serviceable and must be verified by the successful bidder prior to use. Successful bidders will be provided with a Purchasers Receipt, a Bill of Sale and a request for certification of build form.
