Additional scrap metal may be added to this lot in the future. Condition & Markings The lot contains mixed metal types requiring inspection to determine exact quantities and weights. Hand carts and roll carts visible in images are not included with this lot. Material is distributed across two separate locations requiring multiple pickup visits. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Special Removal Requirements: The successful bidder must remove all scrap metal and cannot sort, high grade, or leave any material behind. Multiple loads and site visits may be necessary. Pickup Schedule: Property can be viewed and picked up Monday through Friday, 0700-1400 hours with at least 24 hours prior notice required before access is granted. Identification Requirements: Government issued or state issued Real ID is required as the building site is federal property. Authorized Personnel: Only the person identified on the transfer order or their agent identified in writing will be allowed to pick up the property.
