The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview This lot contains (1) thyroid uptake system and (1) GE LOGIQ e ultrasound unit. Both items are classified in repairable condition. The thyroid uptake system includes meter, printer and monitor components but does not include a CPU. The ultrasound unit is equipped with three probes and was reported to be in working condition when removed from service. Specifications Thyroid Uptake System: Make: Biodex Ultrasound Unit: Make: GE Model: LOGIQ e Key Features The thyroid uptake system is mounted on a mobile cart with wheels for portability. The ultrasound unit includes a laptop-style display and control interface. Three ultrasound probes are included with the LOGIQ e unit. Both units feature mobile cart configurations for clinical use. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Both items were removed from service due to exceeding their life expectancy. The equipment has not been tested since removal and is sold without warranties. The thyroid uptake system is missing its CPU component. Various medical equipment labels and warning stickers are visible on both units. The ultrasound unit shows normal wear consistent with clinical use. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Items can be viewed between 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment. The buyer is responsible for all packing, shipping and handling costs.
